The Ad-Hoc Scholarship Committee was formed to create a PSA-sponsored scholarship for professional staff at The University of Alabama. In April of 2011, the scholarship was officially established and named in honor of the late Mark G. Foster, a long-time UA employee who was active in the early development of the Professional Staff Assembly. Mark served as PSA President in 2007-2008 and as PSA Chair of Assembly Operations in 2010-2011.
The PSA Ad-Hoc Scholarship Committee is responsible for managing and soliciting scholarship funds, coordinating the nominations process and selecting one recipient each year.
