PSA’s Agility Training

Agility training happening this coming Monday. Please note you must click the news title above to access the registration link.

Come join us for a Professional Staff Assembly special training session on Agility. You will receive a boxed lunch to enjoy during the training and certificate of completion. Seats are limited to 25 attendees so please register soon.

The University Agility program is a continuous improvement program that improve service and reduce costs. The program has eight courses that improve participants’ mindsets to enhance job performance, which will help promote significantly work-life balance.

MLK Day of Service

All UA staff members are invited to take part in this year’s MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 18 from 8 a.m. – noon. This year’s day of service will be held virtually with local nonprofit and national organizations. BamaPulse is a user-friendly website that streamlines volunteer and community engagement opportunities and allows you to record your volunteer hours and impacts.

Coat Drive, Oct 1 – Nov 1

Join the PSA in donating Coats to Brewer-Porch Children’s Center! Brewer-Porch Children’s Center is a safe, nurturing place for kids with special needs where the staff help children and adolescents develop the skills they need to learn and grow. Our goal is to collect 80 coats during the collection drive! Please share this opportunity among members of your college or department as well.

Donations Needed: PSA is collecting New Coats and Cold Weather Gear in Adult sizes Small through X-Large or gift cards to Walmart for purchasing coats. Learn more about specific sizes needed at https://givepul.se/rf1wmz.
